The splendid itinerary will provide a unique experience through the Atlas Mountains. The visit will be paid to numerous places either highlighted ones or the places we pass by on the way. We will visit Ifrane which decorates Morocco since it is the cleanest city with the alpine-style architecture as well as Azrou which contains the cedar forest that is home to Barbary Macaque Apes.
The visit will also include Ouarzazate and Merzouga. In ouarzazate, there are the Atlas Studios which were the film set of so many movies and TV shows such as Game of Thrones and Prison Break. This is not the only destination known for cinema since Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has grabbed the attention of many film directors and producers.
To illustrate, Gladiator has been shot within its castles. Merzouga is the highlight of our 4 day Desert Tour Fes to Marrakech in which we will see and do many things. We will visit Erg Chebbi desert camp and spend the night; we will also ride camels.
We will visit some nomad families in their tents and head to Khamlia village to meet Gnawa people and music. The 4-day itinerary will also involve a visit to Dades and other details that will follow in the up-coming lines. The trip that starts from Fes will end in Marrakech.

Day 1: From Fes to Merzouga Desert Itinerary


We will move on to Azrou where the cedar forest will provide some beautiful moments with Barbary Macaque Apes with whom we will play and take pictures. The next destination will be Midelt where we will have a delicious lunch before we carry on our Fes desert Tours to Merzouga passing by the stunning views of Ziz Valley. When we get to Merzouga, we will check-in one of its hotels and walk a little bit on the sands and explore the nearby surroundings then get back to spend the night in our hotel.
Day 2: Splendid Itinerary to Merzouga





Furthermore, if you ever wondered how salt is produced, we will drive you to Mifis mines from which salt is extracted. Some nomad families will also be visited in their tents that are erected in the middle of the desert to have a freshening mint tea with them.
We will visit various other places and have lunch at a local hotel and get back to the village from where we will start our camel ride towards the desert camp in Erg Chebbi where we will spend a night with the local music being played in the background around the campfire. We will have a hearty dinner and make to bed to end the second day of the 4 days Morocco Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech.
Day 3: Towards Dades Valley Itinerary



The next target of our itinerary will be through the small Berber villages to Tinghir where we will have a stop to enjoy the beautiful and stunning views of Todra valley before we make our way towards Todra gorges which is a great opportunity to Mountain climbers since many people from various places come there to practice this hobby. We will have lunch there before we hit the road to Dades Valley that will host us for the third night of our 4 days Tour from Fes in one of its hotel/riad.
Day 4: the itinerary To Marrakech



It is situated on a hill along the Ounila River and served as a strategic stop for merchants travelling to and from the Sudan. This position allowed the city to prosper, and by the 12th century Ait Ben Haddou was a well-established trading centre. The ksar continued to thrive until the advent of the railroad in the early 20th century.
The Kasbah has also been a film set for many movies such as Gladiator and The Mummy. We will continue to Marrakech through Tizi-N-Ticka pass where will have a few stops for pictures as well as other stops in the Argan oil cooperatives. When we get to Marrakech, we will deliver you to your hotels and say our farewells to the 4 days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech.
