- Overview
Our 5 day desert tour from Casablanca comes to an end in Marrakech. On the way, we shall discover all the beautiful hidden attractions in the place. The first target is the second-highest religious landmark in the whole globe, Hassan II Mosque. After satisfying the eye with an outside view of the mosque, Fes will be the second target in our journey.
You cannot visit Fes without gazing closely at one of the oldest universities on the planet. To reach this historical monument, you must pass by the old medina’s narrow streets and alleys.
You still have days on which you will enjoy camel riding on the sands of Erg Chebbi. Besides, Dades and Todgha will, no doubt, amaze any visitor with their unique and stunning gorges. After Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, the journey will take you in the direction of the final stop, Marrakech. This city was selected as the most visited city in the world in 2015, surpassing Istanbul and other touristic destinations.

- Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca to Fes
The 5 day desert tour from Casablanca will begin with transporting you from the airport or your lodgings. You will spend some time examining Moroccan architecture. You may ask “where”, and the answer is Hassan II Mosque, the second largest Mosque in Africa. You can also be ushered to the inside with the condition that it is outside prayer time at certain hours.
This is rare because most of the mosques in Morocco are not open to visitors. Rabat will be the next destination. In the city, you will visit the Hassan Tower as well as Kasbah Oudayas. You will also visit Chellah before we take our leave to Fes. There, we will spend a night in a Riad.
Day 2: Fes Guided Tour:
The second day of our 5-day private tour from Casablanca will let you find out more about Fes. A local guide will tell you everything you need to know about the history of this ancient city. There is the Royal Palace called “ Dar El-Makhzen” which cannot be ignored simply on the way. You will also see the illustration of the Moroccan spirit of co-existence. For instance, Mellah has been inhabited by Moroccan Jewish people since 1438. Mellah lies in Fes El Jdid.
To see Fes from above with a broad view, we highly recommend climbing to Borj Nord. We will as well have a look at the tanneries to see some manifestations of the ancient Moroccan industry. Down the medina roads, we will not stop till we step on the floor of the Al Quaraouiyin and El Bounania corridors. A night will be spent in the city.
Day 3: Fes to Merzouga
On day number 3 of the 5-day north Morocco tour from Casablanca, we will make the way towards Merzouga, our special highlight. On the way, a few breaks are a promise. Ifrane will be the first city to visit on the day.
Ifrane is the cleanest city in Morocco and the second cleanest in the world after Calgary, Canada ( The universal magazine MBC Times’ review). A German soldier carved the Atlas Lion statue in 1920 to leave a masterpiece for visitors like you to see in Ifrane. Some rumors say that the man who carved this statue was a prisoner during WW2, in exchange for his freedom.
Our 5 days tour from casablanca will provide animals’ lovers with the chance to take pictures with monkeys when we reach Cedar Forest. You can also feed them and play with them peacefully. The next step is a drive to Ziz Valley which cannot be arrived at without passing by and enjoying the view of the great Atlas Mountains.
Camel riding will be the next activity on our journey once we get to the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. Camels will carry you, with their steady steps, to your camps where you will satisfy your appetite for food with delicious dishes. You will also listen to some local music. You will spend the night in the camp.
Day 4: Merzouga to Dades Gorges
On this day of our 5 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, you had better get up as early as possible so as not to miss the incredible sunrise. After breakfast, the lovely camels will take you back to your previous initial point.
There, the driver will be waiting for you to start another trip on your day. The next destination will be the Souk ( market) in Rissani City. You will inspect it closely and enjoy the atmosphere that cannot be found elsewhere. Crowds of people pilgrim to this Souk on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
The old system of irrigation can be seen only in Tafilalt Oasis. Thus, we will drive there to provide you with the chance to have a close view of it and how it functions. Another break to have lunch in Tinjdad before we resume the journey toward the canyons of Todgha gorges. We will go to Dades gorges where we will spend the night.
Day 5: Dades Gorges to Marrakech
On the last day of the 5-day tour from Casablanca, we will drive to the Pink City through the thoroughfare of the thousand Kasbahs. Ouarzazate will be the first host. A few stops to take some pictures in Taourirt Kasbah before we go to the Atlas Studio.
This place had witnessed the performance of huge Hollywood actors and actresses. The Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah will be visited as well. It is famous for attracting huge numbers of people from different parts of the globe. The castles are in the form of a village that is fortified just like a fortress.
The last journey will be toward Marrakech city. On the way, we will not miss the chance to take some pictures of the amazing views of Tichka. Argan oil is the rarest oil in the whole world. It is produced only in Morocco. If it interests you, there are many cooperatives to visit. In Marrakech, you will be transported either to your lodgings or the airport to end the 5 days tour from Casablanca.

Thank you so much for all your support. I hope you have a life full of happiness. Kim. 5 Day Private Tour From Casablanca Itinerary: Sites Overview
When we talk about Marrakech, all that comes to mind is the mixture of everything new with everything old. It is a clean city where one rarely smells or sees unpleasant things. It is all painted in red, which explains its nickname “The Red City.”
There are wide streets and narrow ones as well in the old medina as if telling people,
“I am a narrow street in a beautiful city; all I want is you to crowd more and more and get closer to one another, people from different parts of the world meeting as one body.”
Every visitor should see Jamaa El Fana Plaza, which I would call “the heartbeat of Marrakech, “because it is always full of life with snake charmers, water sellers, acrobats, storytellers, and much more. Also, visit the Marrakech Museum, which used to be a palace for one of the sultans of Morocco; it shows a beautiful mix between Islamic Art.
