Day1: Fes itinerary to Merzouga

From Fes our itinerary will make its way towards Merzouga passing by the beauty of the Atlas Mountains. The first place we stop by is the Moroccan Switzerland, Ifrane. This city was nicknamed like this since it is the cleanest city in Morocco and one of the cleanest cities in the world.

We will also stop by Cedar forest to have some time with the Barbary Macaque Apes. We will have a tasty Moroccan lunch in Midelt before we continue our way to Merzouga where we will spend a night in one of its hotels.

The third day of our itinerary will take us in the early morning from Erg Chebbi back to Merzouga to have a hearty breakfast as well as an optional shower. Next, we will head directly to Rissani Market which gets busy with people three days a week.

We will pass through Tinjdad and Touroug till we reach the Todra gorge by which we will stop to admire its greatness. Finally we will get to Dades Valley that will host us for the night in one of its hotels.

Ait Ben Haddou is a popular tourist destination, and visitors often come to see the traditional mud dwellings and to experience a taste of Moroccan culture. The village is also a great place to view the sunset, as it is situated near the edge of a plateau.
