Merzouga Itinerary

We will begin our itinerary from Fes toward Merzouga across Ifrane or “Moroccan Switzerland”. In the city, lies one of the best universities in Morocco “El Akhawayne” which attracts students from different parts of the world, not only Morocco. We will also pass by Azrou in cedar forest in our travel where we will catch our breath and have some joyful time with the lovely monkeys that reside the forest.

We will hit the road to Midelt where we will have lunch before we make to Merzouga through the beautiful Ziz Valley. When we get to Merzouga, we will have a Moroccan mint tea that will throw tiredness away and explore the surroundings on foot before going back to your hotels in the main village to end the first day of our 6 days tour from Fes itinerary.

A 4x4 Itinerary in Merzouga

Two amazing activities will be waiting for you at this point of the itinerary. First, a 4×4 tour around Erg Chebbi dunes and a visit to many villages. We will visit Khamlia Village where the dark skinned people live and play their Gnawa music.

Our trip will take us to a different place this time. We will travel to Ouarzazate through Kelaat Megouna where you will be free to purchase some rose products since this pink city is famous for rose-made cosmetic products. We will also visit Skoura where palm groves are dispersed all over the place. Ouarzazate, in, is a small city with a lot to offer tourists.

The area is known for its movie and television sets production, and there are several studios located in and around the city. Visitors can also explore the nearby Sahara Desert or take a day trip to the Atlas Mountains. Day 5: From Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech itinerary

The day before the last will take us to Marrakech, but before that we will visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is also a film set. The Kasbah is a fortified city along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in present-day Morocco.

It is located in Souss-Massa-Drâa on a hill along the Ounila River and is known for its earthen architecture. The buildings at Ait Ben Haddou have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. We will carry on the itinerary to Marrakech passin by Tizi-n-Tichka pass that will offer wonderful sights before we deliver you to your accommodations in Marrakech city.

Day 6: A guided tour in Marrakech
