This itinerary will start from Marrakech heading to various beautiful sites in Morocco including some imperial cities and villages. It will take you to Rabat, Meknes, and Fes, the city where you will have a guided tour. It will also take you south to Merzouga through Ifrane, Azrou, and Midelt to have some good views of the Southeast of Morocco.

Day 1: The Arrival at Marrakech

Our itinerary will begin with picking you up from the airport and delivering you to your hotels to relax and have some free time to wander the city alleyways and souks and explore them as you wish. Next, you will get back to your lodgings to spend the night.

Day 2: The Itinerary towards Casablanca- Rabat

The first day of our itinerary will drive us north towards Casablanca. The latter is the commercial capital of Morocco. It is also a major transportation hub, home to the busiest airport in Morocco. The city is located on the Atlantic Ocean, with the coastline offering beautiful beaches and plenty of opportunities for water sports. In the city, there are many stunning views of the landmarks that should not be missed such as the Hassan II Mosque that is open to all visitors.

To your record, this mosque is the highest religious building in the world and the second-biggest in Africa. In the Cornish, we will have lunch at a restaurant before we continue the 8 days premium desert tour from Marrakech in the direction of Rabat. Day 3: itinerary from Rabat to Fes

Our itinerary will drive us to Fes from Rabat. On the way we will pass by The Roman ruins of Volubilis. The latter was constructed 225 BC and will offer you some good monumental views to see such as the beautiful ancient mosaic and pillars with the Roman architecture touch. No worries, because the tour is guided by a guy who will let the rocks and ruins tell stories.

When we are done with Volubilis, we will head to Meknes to see its hidden treasures like Bab AL Mansour which was constructed by orders of Sultan Moulay Ismail in the late 17th and the early 18th century. Our itinerary will lead us to Fes to overnight at your Riad and prepare for a long journey in the city.

Our 8 days morocco Sahara desert tour from Marrakech itinerary will be resumed on the fourth morning beginning with a guided tour in the city of Fes since the city provides many stunning views that any visitor would like to visit such as its narrow alleyways, bustling markets, and ancient architecture. Fez feels like a step back in time. It is also home to the world’s oldest University, the University of al-Qarawiyyin, founded in 859 AD. Here are some of the best things we will see and do in Fez:

-Explore the Fez Medina: The Fez Medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest walled cities in the world. With over 9,000 alleyways, it can be easy to get lost, so we hired the best of our guides.

-Visit the University of al-Qarawiyyin: The University of al-Qarawiyyin is the world’s oldest University and home to an impressive library with over 4,000 manuscripts. Admission is by guided tour only.

– Visit the tanneries where the leather goods are made.

In Fes, we will also spend a beautiful night preparing for the fifth day of our itinerary.

Day 5: Driving to Merzouga Desert via Ifrane, Azrou and Ziz Valley

At this point, the itinerary of 8 days from Marrakech south Morocco tour will drive us south from Fes. We will drive and have a stop in Ifrane and Azrou. In Ifrane, we will enjoy the building style of the city which is similar to the European alpine-style. We will also stop to admire the Barbary macaque apes we will meet in the cedar forest in Azrou.

We will continue to Merzouga through Ziz valley, and when we reach this destination, we will check in one of its local hotels and ride camels from there towards the desert camp in Erg Chebbi where you will have dinner, music, a campfire, and a luxurious tent.

Day 6: Driving to Dades Valley via Todra Gorge and Rissani .

On our itinerary, we will have a joyful sixth-day since we will get back to Merzouga and take our luggage to Rissani to view the market (Souk) before we head the road to Todra Gorge which is a climbing site in Morocco. Next, we will carry on our itinerary to Dades valley where we will spend a peaceful night in one of its local hotels.

Day 7: Rose Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - High Atlas
